Rare Steve Carlton 1984 Philadelphia Phillies game used Rawlings glove. This right handed, Rawlings Fastback "Heart of thee Hide" deep well pocket glove has been confirmed by the staff of Rawlings as been personally designed for, and ordered by, Steve Carlton during the 1984 season. The outer right thumb reads: "EDGE-U-CATED_HEEL US.PAT.NO.2.995.757 with 4 dots under the patent stamp. The glove itself exhibits moderate to heavy game wear. "Lefty" went 13-7 with a 3.58 ERA in 1984 appearing in 33 games, his last double digit win season. Carlton's uniform #32 is written under the pocket left of the Rawlings patch and again above the Rawlings patch on the outer pinky finger. There is a vintage Steve Carlton autograph on the inner pinky finger.
