This unique and historic item features an actual game used baseball from the game in which Yankees closer Mariano Rivera recorded his 25th save for a record 15th consecutive season, a record that may well stand forever. Rivera has also personally signed this ball on the side panel making it the only known such treasure that has surfaced in the hobby. Rivera has already announced that he will retire after the 2013 season and is the best closer in the history of baseball. After the game played on July 24th, 2011, Joe Torre was quoted as saying "I'd be surprised if someone could outdo that," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "That's one of those records I don't think anyone will break."
