This lot features a Lou Piniella 1985 New York Yankees game used and autographed jersey. This jersey is a button down Wilson size 42 jersey. Piniella's name, year and set number (Piniella 85 2) are stitched onto a strip tag sewn into the collar. The Yankees added black arm bands in honor of late equipment manager Pete Sheehy which were later removed from the jerseys. The jersey shows light wear with a couple of small dirt stains on the back collar, a splattering of reddish drops, and spotting on the lower back shirt tail. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA COA for the autograph and a Dave Miedema Letter of Authenticity for game use.
