This lot features a 2002 Los Angeles Lakers “Three-Peat” NBA Champions 14K Gold & Diamond Ring issued to the Lakers Spanish Play-by-Play Announcer and “Golden Mike Award Winner”, Fernando Gonzalez. The Lakers would win their 3rd consecutive NBA Championship in 2002 behind Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Phil Jackson and the rest of that phenomenal Lakers team. Even though the Lakers went back to the NBA Finals one more time, this would be their last NBA Title with that legendary Hall-of-Fame trio. Commemorating LA’s impressive 3rd straight NBA Championship, these gigantic 14K Gold Championship rings were designed for the players, coaches, and a few select others with the Lakers. This stunning ring is identical to Shaq’s, Kobe’s, Phil’s and was presented to their award-winning Spanish play-by-play announcer, Fernando Gonzalez. Produced by Masters of Design (MOD) along with Chicago-based Henry Kay Jewelers, this absolutely gorgeous stunner is massive, weighing an impressive 66.1-Grams of solid gold, and approximately 4-carats of genuine stones. The ring remains in pristine Mint condition and is approximately size 11. Fernando Gonzalez began his 26th season as a play-by-play announcer for the Lakers and serves as the Spanish Voice of the team, broadcasting every game on 1330 ESPN Deportes, the Lakers Spanish language flagship. One of most impressive Lakers rings you will ever see in this visually stunning treasure.
