This lot features a Doug Flutie 1983-84 Boston College Eagles game used home jersey. The Champion size M jersey has been customized with 2 inches of added opening to each sleeve which is well known for Flutie collectors. There is a Champion logo on the sleeve. The numbers "22" on front/back and "FLUTIE" on back have been screened on directly to the jersey which exhibits light overall use with impact marks cause by contact during game play. Flutie won the Heisman Trophy after the 1984 season after throwing for 3,454 yards and 27 TD's in 12 games which was considered remarkable for the era. He led the Eagles to a 10-2 record and #5 finish in the final polls for 1984.
