Mariano Rivera wore this navy blue New York Yankees cap c. 2010-11. This cap has the Yankees "NY" logo embroidered on the front. MLB Diamond Collection and New Era tags are sewn in the headband, which also features a size 7 3/8 flag. Rivera’s number “42” is written on the underside of the brim in faded black marker. This cap shows light to moderate wear. A Letter of Authenticity from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticates its use. Very nice and rare item from this legendary pitcher. Rivera will be a first ballot Hall of Famer upon his eligibility next year as his 652 career saves are an all-time record. He was the most dominant closer in the history of baseball.
