Incredibly rare Joe Mauer Rawlings professional model bat from his historic 2009 American League MVP award winning season. The bat measures 33 7/8 inches, weighs 31.4 ounces and shows outstanding overall use with numerous ball marks, handle crack, ball stitch impressions, blue ink transfer marks, pine tar and cleat marks. Joe Mauer's model number (JM7), order number (177) and year (09) are stamped into the knob. Mauer has signed the barrel of the bat in black marker. This bat is incredibly unique in that it originated directly from Joe Mauer's own personal collection and is accompanied by a LOA signed by Mauer, on Ironclad Authentics letterhead stating as such. Also accompanied by a PSA/DNA/John Taube LOA. Mauer had 28 HR's, 96 RBI and an incredible .365 BA in 2009 while posting a .444 OBP and 1.031 OPS making it the best statistical season ever for a catcher. Great bat, directly from Joe, from his best season yet.
