This jersey is made by Wilson and is a size 44, both common for Rice in the early 1990s. All letters and numbers are sewn on in red tackle-twill. The NOB lettering is also added in red tackle-twill on a nameplate likewise sewn on the jersey. The plate itself, like most used on Wilson NFL gamers, is longer than needed to accommodate the name. The jersey carries an alpha year tag marked with DU, pointing the jersey being made and issued in 1991. The jersey compares favorably to a different 1991 road Rice gamer authenticated by MEARS and placed in Goldin Auctions. Overall, the jersey exhibits light to moderate wear, primarily in the widespread puckering of the numbers and the wash wear on the small tags underneath the Wilson label.
