This lot features a Derek Jeter c. 2009-11 New York Yankees game used & autographed hat. New Era ‘Cool Base’ size 7 3/8 New York Yankees vented 6 panel button top baseball cap displays light game wear. This cap is constructed of 100% blue dyed wool with the Yankees inter-locking NY embroidered in white thread on the front of the cap. An MLB logo is on the rear of the cap. Attached to the headband are three tags; the manufacturer (New Era), the size and an MLB ‘Authentic’. All tags are consistent for the era. Jeter’s number “2” is on the underside of the bill in silver marker. The style of the ‘2’ has been recorded on a few Derek Jeter caps appearing in our database. A Derek Jeter signature and the added inscription “Game Used” are on the top side of the bill also in silver marker. Accompanied by a J.T. Sports/John Taube Letter of Authenticity.
