This jersey is made by Russell and is a size 48 + 2 inches extra length. Both tags are flagged underneath the Russell label in the front left outside tail. The Russell label is a design first used during 2001. The interlocking NY logo on the front left chest and the number (2) on the back are both sewn on in navy blue tackle twill. The jersey shows the American League 100th Anniversary patch on the right sleeve. The left sleeve carries a black mourning band to give tribute to the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks. The jersey also has a US flag patch sewn on the back of the collar. This jersey, as is, could have been worn at any Yankees home game after 9/11 and during the AL Playoffs. However, lacking the 2001 World Series patch, it was not worn in the World Series. This jersey displays light wear. Accompanied by an LOA from Dave Miedema.
