This lot features Bert Blyleven’s “Boys of Summer - Men of Fall” limited edition 553/2500 framed Robert Stephen Simon 1988 print. BOYS OF SUMMER, MEN OF FALL is a marvelous piece of baseball history. Its players span a 75 year segment of baseball. A fictional gathering of 32 past and present baseball greats along with presidents John F. Kennedy and Franklin D. Roosevelt all lined up as if they had posed together for the painting. Each player in this print has made an indelible mark on "America's favourite pastime". Most are in the Hall of Fame.
