This lot features a very rare team signed Boston Celtics 1985-86 NBA Championship basketball with Red Auerbach and Dennis Johnson. This parrticular Celtics team was one of the best NBA teams in history as they went 67-15 during the regular season and 11-3 in the playoffs in truly dominant fashion. Attractively signed Official Spalding NBA game basketball. Silver sharpie signatures include: Red Auerbach, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Dennis Johnson, Robert Parish, Danny Ainge, Scott Wedman, Chris Frod, KC Jones, Jerry Sichting and Bill Walton. The signatures remain in mint condition. This ball is especially valuable due to the passing of Dennis Johnson and Red Auerbach making reunion signings impossible. Included is a letter of provenance from the gentleman who acquired the autographs in person as well as a full JSA/James Spence LOA.
