This lot features a blonde c. 1965-1968 Yogi Berra Louisville Slugger Hillerich & Bradsby Model R43 bat measuring 34.0 inches and weighing 30.0 ounces. The bat exhibits excellent overall use with ball marks, cleats marks, an era repaired handle crack and heavy vintage patina and checking from repeated contact on back of barrel. Berra played for the Mets during the first year of this labelling period so it is possible he could have used it both as a player and coach. Berra has signed the barrel of the bat in bold, black marker. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity.
