Official Major League baseball used in the game in which Angels phenom Mike Trout hit his very first career home run. The ball was used during the game played July 24th, 2011 between the Los Angeles Angels and Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. Mike Trout has subsequently signed this baseball on the sweet spot "Mike Trout, 1st ML Home Run, 7/24/11". Trout has exploded on to the major league scene winning the AL Rookie of the Year Award in 2012 and finishing 2nd in the AL MVP voting in each of his first 2 seasons. The sky is the limit for Trout as he is still only 22 years old and is considered the games best overall player. There are a very small amount of game used baseballs that were sold during Trout's brief 2011 call up through MLB Auctions as he only had 123 at bats in 2011. This particular game wasn't thought of as a significant moment at the time because Trout actually only hit .220 during 2011 and he wasn't as highly touted as some other young stars. Not only is this the only game used ball from this now historic game that has surfaced but it is signed and inscribed by Trout himself and Major League baseball documented the event with its authentication stating the exact game it was from and the fact that Trout signed the ball after the game. This unique, one of a kind treasure is sure to be highly coveted by collectors looking for a significant piece of baseball history.
