Inside this lot is one of the most unique Mickey Mantle autographed jerseys we have ever handled. It is a home pinstripe Mitchell & Ness #7 jersey with all original tagging. Across the front fabric underneath the NY logo is a solid blue sharpie signature from Mickey Mantle. Along with his autograph, the Mick has added his "No. 7" and "1956" inscriptions. As rare as Mantle autographed jerseys are, to come across one with such coveted inscriptions is beyond difficult. In addition, the jersey is also numbered "28 of 40" across the tail along with "Greer Johnson Collection" provenance embroidery. With personal inscriptions, limited edition, full authenticity from James Spence, and provenance from the Greer Johnson Collection, this lot without a doubt is not to be missed.
