This lot features an exceedingly RARE Michael Jordan autographed 1984 Descente Olympic Jersey. The first of Michael Jordan's two Olympic Gold Medals came in 1984, when, at the age of 21, he led the U.S. team in scoring with an average of 17.1 points per game. The U.S. team, consisting of college stars and coached by Bobby Knight, had little trouble in the tournament, going undefeated and winning by an average of 32 points per game. Jordan was the team's scoring leader in three games, including the gold medal winning game in which he scored 20 points. This specially tailored red Descente jersey bears "U.S.A." lettering stitched on front and Jordan's number "9" on both front and back. Jordan has added his unusually large signature to the front of the jersey in bold, black marker. Accompanied by an Upper Deck Authenticated Certificate of Authenticity.
