The front tail of the jersey features a "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's tag with size 46 as well as the 1998 year swatch. The jersey exhibits quality overall evidence of game use. Rare opportunity to own an early career Mariano Rivera game used jersey originally sourced directly from the New York Yankees from the prime of his Hall of Fame career. Rivera had 36 saves and a 1.91 ERA in 1998, his 4th season in the big leagues and 2nd season as a closer with the Yankees after setting up John Wetteland for 2 years. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticating its use.
