Joe Mauer 2006 Rawlings blonde block letter bat measuring 34 inches and weighs 33.5 ounces. The bat was used during a game against the Cleveland Indians on August 16th, 2006 in which Mauer had a hit and 2 RBI's. The bat shows outstanding player use characteristics with deeply imbedded ball marks, stitch marks, small crack, bat rack marks and pine tar. Mauer has signed the barrell of the bat in black marker with several inscriptions: "Joe Mauer #7, 2006 Game Used, .347 BA, 2006 A.L. Baatting Champ". Mauer, the 2009 AL MVP, already has 3 AL Batting Titles on his resume and is poised for another great year in 2013. The autograph on the bat has been authenticated by both MLB as well as Ironclad Authentics. High quality Mauer bats like this one are extremely difficult to find, and this is a rare one from his 1st AL Batting Title which also happened to be the first time any AL catcher ever won a batting title. Also included in this lot is a signed and framed 8x10 photo "Joe Mauer, 2006 AL Batting Title." Looks great displayed with this bat.
