This jaw dropping trophy pays tribute to one of the most amazing and improbable moments in the baseball history. Don Larsen pitched a perfect game during game 5 of the 1956 World Series against the arch rival Brooklyn Dodgers on October 8th, 1956. This trophy was one of only 50 produced in 2006 to celebrate the 50 year Anniversary of this special moment. This one happens to be #50/50. The crystal trophy is solidly constructed, weighs 6.5 pounds, and is packaged in two separate boxes. The base has "50th Anniversary, Don Larsen, WSPG, October 8, 1956". The ball has "Don Larsen, WSPG 10-8-56" etched into it along with "50/50" representing the trophy number in the edition. Also accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity titled "Still Perfect" detailing the numbered limited edition. This trophy is extremely rare and highly desirable amongst collectors and would be the highlight of any home or office display.
