This lot features a very unique Babe Ruth autographed bat. It goes without saying that Ruth signed bats are extremely rare and this one is a gem and displays incredibly well as Babe has penned a large bold black fountain pen signature to the barrel. The bat itself is an early 1900's Spalding Frank M. Schulte signature model bat. Schulte played for the Chicago Cubs from 1904-1916 and was named the MVP in 1911 as he led the league with 21 HR's and 107 RBI's. He was a starting outfielder on the last Chicago Cubs World Series Championship team. This relic will display beautifully due to the nice contrast of the bold Ruth signature to the light colored wood of the bat. It's rare to find this combination as most Ruth autographed bats are rather difficult to view and can't been seen from a distance. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA Certificate of Authenticity.
