Official Wilson ball signed by 33 members of the 1934 New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox, including both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. This ball was acquired from Ken Ellsworth, a former PGA Tour player. He inherited the ball from his father who initially acquired it in 1934 as a prize for winning a "curveball contest" the day of the game between the Yankees and White Sox. The ball is loaded with signature value with other HOF signatures. including Al Simmons, Joe Sewell, Luke Appling, Joe McCarthy and Lefty Gomez. Other key signatures include: Art Letcher, Myril Hoag, Zack Taylor, Dan MacFayden, John Schulte, Don Heffner, Jimmie DeShong, Red Rolfe, John Allen and George Selkirk. An incredible collection of signatures on this baseball featuring a large Lou Gehrig on the side panel. Gehrig signatures are usually understated but is the highlight of this ball. Accompanied by a JSA LOA as well as a letter of provenenance from the consignor explaining how the ball was initially acquired back in 1934.
