Obtained directly from the Minnesota Wild Hockey Lodge this Adidas green jersey was worn by Kaprizov during the playoffs at the conclusion of his 2020-21 rookie season. Drafted by the Wild in the fifth round #135 overall in the 2015 NHL Draft, Kaprizov made his highly anticipated NHL Debut on January 14, 2021. After playing six seasons in the KHL Kaprizov made an immediate impact. Scoring his first goal in his NHL debut and making NHL history as the first player with three points, including an overtime goal in their debut. He took the league by storm on the way breaking Wild rookie records for goals and assists. He led all NHL rookies in goals (27), points (51), power play goals (8) and shots on goal (157) in playing 55 games. He went on to become the first Wild player to ever win the Calder Memorial Trophy voted as NHL Rookie of the Year. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Minnesota Wild Game Worn Jersey tagging for 2020/21 marked "Minnesota Wild 2020-21 Playoffs Game Worn Jersey". The original price tag is still intact as it was purchased from the Hockey Lodge at the Stadium for $8,000 back in 2021 before Kaprizov's popularity exploded.
