This lot features a 1989 Kent Hrbek Game Used Road jersey exhibiting outstanding overall use. The jersey has been photo matched. Rawlings road gray jersey from Hrbek's memorable 1989 season in which he had 25 HR's 84 RBI's and a .272 BA. The size 50 jersey exhibits quality overall use and is photo matched. It has the correct Rawlings size 50 label and "Set 2 1989" tag and 3 inches added length tag sewn into the collar. The Minnesota Twins team disc patch adorns the left sleeve. The jersey has been signed on the back by the 1994 team with 36 signatures including Kirby Puckett, Dave Winfield, Tom Kelly, Ron Gardenhire, Chuck Knoblauch, Rick Aguilera, Scott Erickson, Pat Mahomes, Shane Mack, Denny Hocking, Pedro Munoz, Dick Such, Jimmy Wiessner and Kevin Tapani among others. 1994 was Hrbek’s final season. Based on the fact that the jersey is signed by players and team personnel (trainer, equipment managers, etc) the jersey was likely pulled out of the archive at the end of the 1994 season and signed for a player or team personnel in recognition of Hrbek’s final season. Hrbek game used jerseys have become very difficult to find and this is one of the finest examples in the hobby. Accompanied by an LOA from Dave Miedema.
