The road alternate blue knit jersey features "MAUER" across the back in white on red tackle twill on blue nameplate as well as "MINNESOTA" across the chest and his number "7" on both sides, all in white-on-red tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a "Majestic Authentic" manufacturer's tag and a swatch underneath that reads "7 50 06" for the jersey's number size and year. The appropriate Twins logo patch is located on the left sleeve and the #34 Kirby Puckett Memorial patch adorns the right sleeve. The jersey shows quality game use and has the 0062 interior tag present on the inner side seam. Joe Mauer has personally signed the back number 7 in black marker. There is an MLB authentication hologram on the back number 7. Accompanied by a Minnesota Twins Letter of Authenticity confirming that this jersey was used by Joe Mauer in 2006 as well as a JSA/James Spence Letter of Authenticity for the signature. The 2006 season was a special one for Joe as he won his first of 3 AL Batting Titles in only has 2nd full season by hitting .347 while finishing 6th in the AL MVP voting and winning his 1st of 5 Silver Slugger Awards.
