This lot features a Joe Montana 1993 San Francisco 49ers home red jersey which was issued to Joe Montana for the 1993 season. On April 21st, 1993, Montana was traded to the Chiefs. The jersey does not show signs of use and has the Wilson size 42 tag on the lower left front tail while the flap tag is coded "FY", indicating 1993 issuance. Number 16 is sewn to the front, back and sleeves of the jersey in white tackle twill while Montana's name is sewn to the jersey via nameplate. A very historic piece which signified the end of Montana's 49ers legendary career. Super Joe has signed the back #1 of the jersey in black marker.
