Greg Maddux 1988 Chicago Cubs game used jersey features the Cubs logo on the left front chest as well as "MADDUX 31" on the back in red-on-white tackle twill. The collar of the jersey features a "Rawlings 40" manufacturers/size tag as well as "31 88 1 40T" player number, year, set and size swatch (tapered) sewn underneath along with a "Set 1 1988" flag tag sewn in. The jersey shows nice overall game use. The Cubs team logo patch is present on the left sleeve. Beautiful 2nd year Maddux gamer as 1988 was the year Maddux was selected to his 1st All-Star game. Maddux went 18-8 with a 3.18 ERA for Cubbies in '88 after going 6-14 his rookie season. Maddux has signed and inscribed the back of the jersey "Greg Maddux 92-93-94 Cy" in black marker.
