Frank Crosetti was best remembered as a New York Yankee player for 17 seasons and coach for another 20 seasons. He coached with the now defunct Seattle Pilots in 1969. Seattle's first Major League baseball organization lasted but one year (1969). After a season of disappointing attendance, the Pilots moved operations to Milwaukee. This New Era Cap is what the team wore in 1969 with the label present - handwritten blue pen detailing of the size is also on the tag ("7-3/8"). Crosetti's "2" is present on the underside of the brim circled and written in black felt tip. It shows great use with sweat staining present and a discolored interior (also from sweat). The original plastic crown insert is also present in the inside. Also to note, the famous scrambled egg design on the visor is present with central broken-in wear.
