This lot features an extremely rare unscored 1951 NCAA Basketball Championships program in excellent condition. Not yet called the Final Four, the Championship was played at Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota and featured Illinois, Oklahoma A&M, Kansas State, & Kentucky. Kentucky defeated Oklahoma A&M 68-58 for the title. The Wildcats' 7'0" center Bill Spivey was the tourney MVP. There was a small press run of programs sold only in the arena, and this is considered to be one of the hardest NCAA Finals programs to find.
