This lot features a Derek Jeter 2007 New York Yankees professional model road gray jersey. The jersey has Jeter's number "2" on the back and a black armband and black number "10" on the left sleeve: the armband is in remembrance of Cory Lidle and the number is "10" to honor the passing of Yankees icon Phil Rizzuto. The fact that this jersey has the "10" memorial patch of Rizzuto holds special significance to Yankees fans as Rizzuto and Jeter were the 2 greatest shortstops and winners in team history. There is a Majestic label on the front left tail above a size 48 hang tag and a very faded 2007 year tag. A faded "0062" wash tag is sewn inside the left seam. The Yankee captain has signed the back #2 in silver marker, his collectibles are at an all time high as he is making his farewell tour around the league.
