This lot features a Dave Winfield 1980 San Diego Padres Wilson size 44 alternate brown jersey exhibiting quality overall use. The popular pullover style jersey has "PADRES" sewn on the front and "WINFIELD 31" sewn on the back. The Wilson size 44 manufacturer's tag is sewn into the collar while the "31 80" swatch is sewn into the tail. Winfield has signed and inscribed the back #3 of the jersey "Dave Winfield HOF 2001" in black marker. Beautiful, early career, extremely popular gamer of this Hall of Famer and 3,000 Hit Club member. This coveted early career Dave Winfield jersey is brand new to the hobby and was originally acquired from a reliable source back on July 19th, 1990.
