Dave Righetti 1981 New York Yankees game used jersey features "NEW YORK" across the chest and his number "19" on back sewn in with navy blue on white tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a Wilson size 44 and the inside back collar has a "Righetti 81 2" swatch present. The jersey shows light to moderate evidence of game use. The Elston Howard memorial black armband appropriately adorns the left sleeve. Elston Howard passed away in December of 1980 and the Yankees honored his memory on their uniforms in 1981. Righetti won the AL Rookie if the Year Award in 1981. He would go on to win the Rolaids Relief Pitcher of the Year twice.
