This lot features a personal signed letter from Ben Kerner to the late Sid Hartman, columnist for the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper for an incredible 75 years. Sid was known to have many "close personal friends" and, based on his extensive collection of correspondences, we can confirm that fact. Ben Kerner was a businessman and former owner of the St. Louis Hawks NBA team. He was known for his marketing strategies and innovative approaches to growing the sport of basketball.
