The 2005 season proved to be a memorable one Albert Pujols as he won the Most Valuable Player award in helping lead the St. Louis Cardinals to the NLCS. Pujols launched 41 HR's, knocked in 117 runs, scored 129 and batted .330 during the '05 season. This 33-7/8 inch, 32 ounce un-cracked Louisville Slugger I13L model bat exhibits excellent overall use. Along the barrel are multiple ball marks and stitch impressions including blue ink transfers. Noticeable cleat marks are upon the barrel, and there is Mota stick on the handle. The length (4) and weight (2) and Pujols’ number “5” are written on the knob in black marker. His number is also written on the cupped end. The icing on the cake for this beautiful bat is the fact that Pujols signed it boldly on the barrel in black marker. Great bat from the newest 500 HR Club member.
