Great pair of very-vintage early-1980s Adidas size 14-1/2 white & purple professional shoes, well-worn and signed by Hall of Famer Adrian Dantley during the peak of his career, while averaging 30 PPG and dominating all opponents. The Utah Jazz would later retire his number "4" as confirmation of his contribution to the franchise. Each sneaker features classic Adidas three-stripe purple trim and logo, and displays all proper tagging/stamping. Tongues read, “Adidas ‘LA MARQUE AUX 3 BANDES’”. Interiors are stamped, “14 ½ 121325 19 6”. Provenance is assured by Dantley, who has signed each sneaker in bold red marker, adding, “To (NBA ballboy) David, Best of Luck, Adrian Dantley”. Many photos are available of him wearing this exact style shoe. Includes an LOA from JSA to certify the signatures and a personal letter from the NBA ballboy who was originally presented these shoes. With Dantley game-used jerseys from the era routinely bringing several thousand dollars, these offer a great alternative, representation and display.
